Kate and I went to see the Avengers 3D yesterday evening. About 10 minutes into it, the movie shifted out of focus. It's been a busy, busy week!  There was the pre-Christmas shopping spree; then Christmas Eve dinner with the family. When one of my former co-workers moved away for a year, she asked me to take care of her betta fish. Betta, as she was named, was already over 2 years old, which is pretty old for a betta. I was driving home from my parents' house on Sunday when I pulled up to an intersection. I was peed on by a tree frog this afternoon. This is mainly notable because it was an unusual occurrence, not because it was especially unpleasant.  Our yard is thick with tree frogs, and one of the poor little buggers must have jumped on my truck.
